I have several photo/written journals kept by grandparents while aboard USS Augusta, USS Canopus,USS Panay and travels within China, Japan, Guam,& Phillipine Islands. These photo's and diaries speak much about life aboard these ships and are facinating indeed. Particularly interested in finding anyone who would remember Lt. Johnny 'JJ' Geiste, U.S.S. Panay...Lt. 'Fish' Ramsey, USS Canopus,Dr. John Paul USS Canopus, Charles Mann USS Augusta or mostly, Edgar "Barney" Chase, USS Stewart and later USS Meredith..(my grandfather)
