In regards to EG's comment about Tasker Bliss being built as the president cleveland. yes you are right about that but----The Tasker H. Bliss was torpedoed and SUNK. She wasn't put back into service after the war,she was SUNK. You might be confused with another ship called the General T.H.Bliss which was built in 1943. this one is different from the original Tasker H. Bliss. Does anyone have any coments or information to clarify?
