I am looking for stories and/or photos from veterans who served on the USS Augusta during the invasion of Normandy in 1944 (Operation Neptune). These stories will be considered for inclusion in a book that Madison Press is producing for fall 2003 entitled D-Day: The Greatest Invasion -- A People's History by the military historian Dan van der Vat.
