Game Highlights
After allowing a 99-yard scoring drive to Hicksville, Chris Hurst returned the ensuing kickoff 90 yards for a touchdown for Massapequa (1-1 Conference I). Jon Snyder added the extra point for the 7-6 lead with four minutes left in the first quarter. Massapequa did not let Hicksville get beyond its own 10-yard line during the final drive of the game. Ron Lanzillotta and Stephen Einig both had sacks during that possession. Snyder hit a 38-yard field goal with seven minutes left in the second quarter for a 10-7 lead. He capped the scoring in the third with a 37-yarder. Peter Cardone made six tackles for the Chiefs. Mike Luyster scored the only touchdown for Hicksville (1-1).
