(10/30/04 - Massapequa Park) It was Homecoming Weekend in
Massapequa and the Chiefs did not disappoint their football fans.

Michael Powers completed 11 of 16 passes for 237 yards and two touchdowns for Massapequa (5-1 Conference I). Powers also caught a 30-yard touchdown
pass from Michael Perez on a halfback options.
Perez had
four catches for 154 yards and one touchdown, and ran for a touchdown. Matt Cowley caught a 49-yard touchdown pass, returned an interception for a touchdown, and recovered two fumbles.
Travis Simms had two touchdowns for Uniondale (3-3).
Two of the Chiefs' touchdown drives commenced by their
gaining possession on off-side kicks by Kevin Zorovich.
Massapequa (5-1) will be hosting Freeport (5-1) next Saturday
(10/30/04) in an important Conference I match-up. The only defeat for either
team has been against Farmingdale (5-1). Game time is at 2pm.
