No. 4 Massapequa (6-2) amassed 524 yards total offense and scored on eight straight possessions in its Nassau Conference I quarterfinal. Quarterback Mike Powers completed 6 of 9 passes for 224 yards and two touchdowns.
Backs Chris Hurst had 120 yards and two scores on 15 carries and Michael Perez had 133 yards and two touchdowns on eight carries. No. 5 East Meadow (4-4) was led by Matt DeLuca, who ran for 73 yards and three touchdowns on 17 carries. Matt Cowley scored two touchdowns for Massapequa off passes from Powers.
Massapequa plays Freeport Thursday at Hofstra.
