Hofstra defeats Harvard 13-6 (Uniondale, NY 4/29/06) - Senior Chris Unterstein tallied three goals and two assists, while freshman Tom Dooley scored three goals to lead the second ranked Pride of Hofstra (14-1) to a 13-6 victory over #16 Harvard (6-5) at James M. Shuart Stadium Saturday evening.
Hofstra broke the school record with its 14th straight victory and tied the school record with the 14th win of the season. Unterstein recorded his 150th career point in the contest while Dooley broke the school's freshman points record, posting three points in the contest, to give him 32 goals and 13 assists for 45 points, topping Andy Carlson's 1991 mark of 44 points (35-9).

The Crimson's Brooks Scholl scored 6:09 into the third, but Chris Unterstein completed his hat trick with 1:26 left in the third and Bill Peters scored from Chris Unterstein with five seconds left for a 12-4 lead after three quarters. After Dooley scored the first goal of the fourth, Calvert and Steve Cohen closed out the scoring with goals for Harvard.
Greg Gohen and Calvert led the Crimson with two goals apiece, while Greg Cohen also added an assist.
Matt Southard made nine saves in 55:53, while Pat DeBolt had two saves in relief. O'Donnell, who played the first 30 minutes, made nine saves for the Crimson. Joe Pike made eight saves for Harvard in the second half.
The Pride return to action Wednesday night when they host a Colonial Athletic Association semifinal contest against Villanova at James M. Shuart Stadium. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.
