Wade Ring served  on board the USS Augusta from 1941-1946.  He was part of the Aviation Crew serving as a "spotter" radioman.   Wade Ring passed away January 30, 2008 and will be interred at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida on February 22 at 2 PM.  if needed contact ninagville@aol.com, Gainesville, FL.
